⭐ What is your fund’s focus?
Women’s Health and Wellness
💪 What motivated you to create your fund?
Seeing first hand how women’s health and sexual wellness has been historically marginalized, yet this wave of innovation is now unstoppable!
💵 What kind of companies do you invest in?
We invest across several industries including digital health, biotechnology, and consumer products. Many companies are post-MVP and some are pre-revenue, focusing on pre-Seed and Seed stage companies. We look for an exciting new innovation, whether it’s a scientific breakthrough or a new way of approaching an underserved market.
☀ What did you dream of becoming when you were younger?
A vet – I love animals!
🙏 What is your favorite piece of advice for founders?
Dream big, and say no to working with the people who aren’t aligned with your dream.
💸 What is the biggest change you would like to see in the funding ecosystem and why?
More friendly collaboration between founders and investors – more transparency, and an even playing field of women and POC’s ability to close funding.
🙋‍♀️ What is your favorite piece of advice for women wanting to get started in investing?
You can learn how to ask questions and do the type of analysis you find helpful to make decisions, but don’t overlook what your gut is telling you.
